This workshop will be offered at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown, PEI.


The target audience for this workshop includes Attending, Clinical or Consulting Veterinarians, Facility Managers, Aquatic Facility Technicians, and Animal Care Committee Members working with academic or research institutions that house laboratory aquatic animals and/or review animal care protocols involving manipulating fish in the wild. The workshops provide exposure to the CCAC Guidelines on Fish, Specific Challenges Aquatic Species present for Animal Care Committees, Welfare Assessments and Clinical Care of Aquatic Species and hands-on experience technical and clinical procedures for aquatic laboratory animals.


The Workshops are designed to be stand-alone, 2 day sessions depending on registrants experience level, however they may be taken consecutively. Certificates of Completion are provided.
