The 2019 Scientific Program Committee is seeking abstracts for a variety of presentation formats for the 2019 CALAS/ACSAL Symposium to be held in Vancouver-Richmond May 25-28th2019. You are invited to submit an abstract of your published or unpublished research or clinical case presentations related to one of the five clusters
1)Brain Health:Traumatic brain injury, compassion fatigue, mental health awareness
2) Financial Stability in Vivariums:Working with internal and external stakeholders, useful metrics, Key Performance Indicators
Abstracts may be submitted in English or French and if accepted will be presented in the language of submission. CALAS/ACSAL members in good standing may be eligible for a variety of awards (more details will be available in the New Year).
Presentation Formats
Poster Presentations:Posters will be on display from Sunday, May 26th - Tuesday, May 28thin the exhibit area. Poster boards and velcro/pins are provided, the surface area is either 4' x 4' (half board) or 4' x 8' (full board) - to be determined on acceptance of presentation.
Talking Posters:Talking posters will be presented Sunday, May 26th. A poster board will be available in the presentation room, posters will be put up and presenters will have 15 minutes to discuss the content, including audience questions. Following the talking poster presentations, all posters will remain on display in the exhibit area until Tuesday, May 28th.
Oral Presentations:Oral Presentations are 15, 30 or 45 minutes, including time for Q & A, they will take place on May 27th& 28thas scheduled by the Scientific Chair.
