Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN Compensation Policy.
Hours: 35 hours per weekStatus: Temporary Full-Time, 1 year contract
We are seeking a Research Technician I to join our translational cancer research team at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Research Institute. The successful candidate will join an exciting research environment and will apply technical knowledge and skills to perform moderately complex laboratory procedures and experiments. In addition, he/she will communicate and maintain records of experimental data; monitor and maintain lab chemical/cell stocks and/or equipment and orders and maintain inventories of supplies and animals.
Join a team working in the area of translational cancer research. The candidate will work with mouse models of human cancer, assessing the effectiveness of novel therapeutics and performing advanced analytical techniques including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, cell culture, and molecular studies.
